active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A dynamic opportunity is
available for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support
in an elementary school setting located in Chatham, NJ. This
contract role spans the 2026-2027 school year and involves working
two days per week with 3rd and 4th grade students at a single
school site. The position focuses on supporting children with
multiple disabilities, including emotional regulation impairments
as well as language and learning disabilities. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized physical therapy
services tailored to the needs of students with multiple
disabilities - Collaborate effectively with educators, therapists,
and support staff to implement therapeutic strategies - Monitor
student progress and adjust interventions to promote physical and
educational development - Support emotional regulation and enhance
motor skills to improve classroom participation - Maintain detailed
documentation and communication with school team members and
families Preferred Qualifications: - Licensed Physical Therapist
with experience in school-based therapy - Familiarity with working
with diverse disabilities including emotional and learning
challenges - Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage
with educators and families - Commitment to fostering a positive
and inclusive educational environment Location: Elementary school
in Chatham, NJ This role offers a competitive hourly rate within a
