From our headquarters in Vineland, NJ, F&S Fresh Foods
distributes fresh-cut fruits, vegetables, and meal solutions to
nearly 100 million customers daily. Strategically and centrally
located, our main hub has easy access to every major interstate on
the Eastern Seaboard. With 650,000 square feet of devoted
facilities, we process over 100 million pounds of produce annually
for our retail, food service, and industrial customers alike. We
have spent 40 years perfecting our production and safety processes,
and our support and partnership have generated new possibilities
for an array of customers from restaurants to convenience store
chains to supermarket prepared food operations, and every
high-volume fresh foods marketspace in between. Reporting to the
Senior Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible
for achieving key sales objectives and developing new business
opportunities to expand sales to target market potential. The
primary target market is New York and Pennsylvania. Principal
Responsibilities:Drives sales and profit through direct selling of
established customers and developing/executing new customer
business plansRecommends new business strategies to continuously
strengthen competitive position in marketsPrepares and presents
sales presentations, utilize fact base selling tools to support
customer strategies, and goals.Acts as liaison cross-functionally,
in efforts to resolve customer mattersAssures effective operations
by coordinating sales and service activities with technical
services, production, quality control, inventory and shipping
departmentsResponsible for monthly forecast for segments, evaluate
business opportunities and financial impact of existing customers
as well as implementing new ones.Attends and performs necessary
duties at industry trade shows, seminars and organization meetings
as necessaryDevelops and maintains sales and marketing budgets for
regionAble to travel 50%-60% within the assigned region
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or business
management5-10 years of experience demonstrating proven success in
growing sales and closing deals within the fresh cut/produce
industryIn depth knowledge of market conditions and seasonality
within the fresh cut industrySolid business development and budget
analysis capabilities with a demonstrated ability to apply these
principles and methods through strategy and tacticsEnergetic and
proactive individual who takes calculated risks, and perseveres to
attain goalsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships,
while working collaboratively with cross-functional business
teamsDemonstrated successful ability to organize and prioritize
work to ensure timely deadlinesProficient computer skills required
including Microsoft Office SuiteMust be able to work independently
