Description:Material Handler performs all warehouse duties as defined by Warehouse Manager or Operation Supervisor.Material Handler Duties:Load/unload trucks (pallet handling)Check product for damages during loading and unloadingPerform picker and put away functions including staging and live loadingPerform case picking functionsEnsure all products loaded/unloaded are in good order and accounted forWrap any product with ripped shrink wrap and account for it on a tally sheet located on the shrink wrapperCorrect any information that is missing or incorrect on paperworkFill out paperwork correctly for all inbound and outbound productsInspect all freight and report to dock manager if there is damaged productFrom time to time, break down pallets to make partial pallets or building up pallets for shipmentWrap any pallets that need wrapped and document a tally located at the wrap machines, (Hand wrappers are available for pallets that don't need completely wrapped)Follow all warehouse rules and regulations including safe driving and inspection of equipment before and during useAll other duties assigned by manager or supervisorMonday thru Friday shift varies between 8AM and 6PMBenefits:Competitive WagesPaid Vacation and Sick timeMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account8 Paid holiday daysCompany-paid Life InsuranceCompany match 401(k) Retirement SavingsRequirements:Material Handler Requirements:Prior forklift experienceSafe driving operationsDetail oriented and results drivenPhysical Demands:Standing 4-8 hours a dayWalking short periods of timeLifting, occasional heavy lifting over-head lifting, from floor level, weights from 10-60 lbs., and lifting while moving the body in various motionsCarrying items 10- 60 lbsPushing/PullingClimbing/Balance, off forklift, trucks, docks, anything else that requires a step up or downBend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlMust be able to work in various conditions, indoors and outdoors; zero (0) to hundred (100) degrees Fahrenheit, dry or wet climatesMust be able to work in trailers with temperatures of zero (0) or below, or temperatures of 32 degrees or abovePI207940671
