Job Description:
Dynamic Opportunity- As a full-time employee, working 37.5 hour
per week, as a Residence Counselor you will provide counseling,
guidance and advocacy to clients with behavioral health issues, who
reside in multiple residential settings.
The Guidance Center- is a primary mental health support agency,
providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and
families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County,
NJ area. For more than 60 years, our non-profit organization of
professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has
assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types
of mental illness.
What does this position look like- A Residence Counselor maintains
progress and activities records. Develops and implements social,
recreational and educational activities for clients. Communicates
observations and information about the client to the treatment
team. Accompanies and provides transportation for clients to
community resources. Provides on-site services and support.
