Job Description Velocity First is a rapidly progressing Solar company looking for Solar Sales Representatives to join our amazing Team. The solar energy market is valued at over $52 billion and is projected to reach $223 billion in the next 5 years. The demand for solar energy is rapidly increasing as New Jersey is currently ranked #7 for Most Solar Panel installs, and ranked #8 for lowest Co2 emissions generated from electricity in comparison to the rest of the country. At Velocity First, our clients always come first; however it is our goal to make sure our employees are taken care of. We offer competitive pay, uncapped earning potential, paid training, and ramp up pay. Our average salary for our representatives is dependent on exactly which position fits you and your needs/skills, nevertheless the average yearly salary is $61,500-$123,750. Our office that our reps will be reporting to is based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. As a sales Rep with Velocity First, your duties would be to talk to homeowners on a daily basis to see if it makes sense for them to go solar. Our company assists in the entire process of going solar, so essentially you would be the middleman in the whole process. We have a personalized training program that is 2 weeks to make sure that our reps are the best they can be, feel confident, and educated before talking to homeowners daily. All you will need to apply with Velocity First is a drivers license, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or equivalent. As a sales rep, you need to be customer-centric, friendly, and have a self-motivated attitude. Experience in sales is not necessary as we will train the right candidate! In addition to our core values, we need reps with Excellent Verbal communication skills A highly persuasive, self-disciplined & honest work ethic Good time management skills Be knowledgeable and confident doing essential Job Functions. Know the solar industry and understand the products we offer. Build trust and a solid rapport with prospective customers. Qualify prospects through the use of consultative, value based selling methods. Develop, foster, and maintain relationships to close deals via leads. Build relationships with potential clients. Listen and gather information to accurately identify the customer's Solar needs. Create sales material to present to potential clients. Assist Clients with signing agreements. Follow up with Clients.
