Aunt Kitty's Foods, Vineland NJ is currently seeking Laborer's on 2nd Shift (must be able to train on 1st shift). This position is responsible to prepare raw material for production by sight inspection and removes defects or any extraneous material from product. Job Requirements:- Sight inspects and removes defects or any extraneous material from product.- Prepares raw materials for production.- Keeps work area clean to include sweeping, shoveling, dumping, or disposing of materials used in production.- Gains an understanding of how certain equipment operates and how to stop the equipment if the automatic function fails.- Responsible for physically listing up to 70 pounds as required.- Should not leave assigned line unless given permission by Manger and/or Supervisor.- Reports any mechanical or safety problems to Manager and/or Supervisor immediately.- Adheres to common safety practices and regulations including the wearing of protective clothing and equipment as required.- Adheres to plant hygiene regulations to ensure high product integrity.- Responsible for following food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP's, safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.- Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager and/or Supervisor.
