Test Engineer, Junior The Opportunity: When a user tries new sof
tware, they expect it to be intuitive and run smoothly.
Functionality, reliability, and user experience are key to
successful sof tware development—and that means rigorous testing.
That’s why we need you, a test engineer who knows how to thoroughly
test sof tware and work with developers to make sure our team
releases the best sof tware possible. As a Test Engineer on our
team, you’ll work with testers, developers, and engineers as part
of a team evaluating sof tware developed for national defense.
You’ll help develop a test plan with test cases based on user
stories. You’ll generate data and implement the test cases to
observe how the sof tware performs, then document the results and
communicate defects to the development team so they can start
improving the tool. You’ll automate continuous security and
performance testing and monitor the health of systems. Join us. The
world can’t wait. You Have: Experience designing, deploying, and
advancing support of multi-protocol IP backbone and access networks
Experience creating architecture products to support testing
utilizing Magic Draw Experience c ond ucting and reporting findings
of lab-based testing efforts Experienced with layer 2 and layer 3
networking Experienced deploying, upgrading, and troubleshooting
multivendor network and security equipment and solutions Experience
with routers, switches, and protocols utilized within DoD SATCOM
Experience with classified networks Secret clearance HS diploma or
GED Nice If You Have: Experience with DoD networks Experience with
STIGing or security hardening of systems Experience with Sof tware
Defined Wide Area Networks ( SD-WAN ) Experience documenting
complex network and security systems and procedures to implement
and troubleshoot such systems Knowledge of agile best practices and
procedures Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a
security investigation and may need to meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information ; Secret

is determined by various factors, including but not limited to
location, the individual’s particular combination of education,
knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as
contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to
$108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the
typical salary range for this position and is just one component of
Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting
