Job Description:

Cherokee Federal, a division of Cherokee Nation Businesses specializing in construction, engineering, and IT services, is looking for a Technical Counterintelligence Analyst to enhance our cybersecurity efforts. This position involves conducting sophisticated cyber threat analysis and risk assessment to protect various information systems crucial to national security. You will play a pivotal role in interpreting and implementing advanced counterintelligence tactics to thwart and mitigate outside threats from advanced persistent threats (APTs). By joining our team, you will contribute directly to projects with global impact, ensuring the integrity and security of both our and our clients' critical systems. Analyze and interpret intelligence data to identify and assess cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Develop and implement countermeasures and mitigating controls to neutralize and prevent cyber espionage activities. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to strategize and enhance overall cybersecurity posture. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Prepare comprehensive risk assessment reports for stakeholders. Conduct and support security investigations and responses as required. Proficiency in cybersecurity and counterintelligence principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Skilled in using cybersecurity and intelligence software tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
