lists. Overview The Director of Technology Services and Enterprise
Architecture is accountable for the company's hosting platform as a
service strategy and enterprise architecture, ensuring optimal
performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a
strategic leader who can lead and manage a team of enterprise
architects, cloud engineers and vendors, to define, develop and
implement infrastructure and enterprise architecture strategies,
and ensure their alignment with business objectives. The Director
will also work closely with the IT executive staff and decision
makers in other departments to define, identify, recommend,
develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions
for all aspects of the organization. Responsibilities Director –
Technology Services & EA Develop and implement strategies for the
design, deployment, and maintenance of IT architecture. Research,
analyze to identify gaps and recommend IT solutions. Strategic
mindset with tactical execution focus is a must. Manage staffing,
including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development,
evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Develop and implement all
functional policies and procedures, including those for enterprise
architecture, standards, and service provisioning. Develop business
case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and
initiatives. Evaluate and select service providers and
technologies. Develop requests for proposals Conduct research and
remain current with the latest technologies and solutions Lead team
in creating designs for robust and secure IT architecture.
Responsible for documenting and driving the target architecture.
Work collaboratively with the Cybersecurity team and provide inputs
into policies and procedures that drive adoption of secure
capabilities across Insmed. Work collaboratively with the AI team
to ensure AI runs on secure and cost-effective cloud
infrastructure. Accountability to ensure compliance with government
regulations, industry standards, and corporate policies as it
pertains to infrastructure and network. Deep understanding of
vendor relationships. Proven track record of owning & driving
productive and strategic partnerships with vendors. Work with the
department head to define and drive a fit for purpose strategy and
roadmap across Technology services and Enterprise Architecture.
Enterprise Architect mindset with ability to collaborate with IT
functions, conduct architecture reviews and help drive and document
EA artifacts. Good knowledge and comfortable with working in a
Hybrid Cloud environment including Google Cloud Platform, Amazon
Web Services, Azure, VMWare, Office365 & ServiceNow Lead team in
supporting Validated Systems. Knowledge in designing WAN and data
centers. Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
12 years of demonstrated multidisciplinary technology/IT experience
and at least 5 years of experience in IT architecture/ Enterprise
architecture in a regulated industry. Strong problem-solving and
analytical skills. Excellent communication, organizational and
presentation skills. Ability to demonstrate business value of
enterprise architecture initiatives. Deep passion for AI and AI
enabled technologies. Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, Amazon
Web Services, Active Directory, Generative AI, DevSecOps, Agile and
service management are a definite plus. Proven technology
leadership skills and the ability to lead and mentor a highly
skilled engineering team. Financial forecasting and budget planning
experience. Extensive experience working in a team-oriented,
collaborative environment. Exceptional customer service
orientation. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and
user-friendly language. Nice to have – Certifications such as
TOGAF, GCP or AWS certifications or a willingness to pursue them
are a plus. LI-JT1LI-Hybrid Salary Range $171,000 - $239,667 a year
