Title: Informatica ETL DeveloperLocation: Owings Mills, MD Duration: 6+ Months of Contract Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer with over 10 years of experience in data integration, ETL development, and big data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, PowerExchange CDC, and strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Apache Spark, AWS, and modern data engineering tools. This is a key role responsible for building scalable, high-performance data integration solutions in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange CDC tools.Lead end-to-end data integration projects ensuring high data quality, performance, and scalability.Build and optimize large-scale data pipelines using Apache Spark, PySpark, and Python.Develop and maintain data models and perform gap analysis on legacy ETL jobs.Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.Work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as DB2, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.Integrate data pipelines with AWS cloud services, implementing best practices for performance and security.Use workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow for scheduling and monitoring.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ETL code and address production issues proactively.Ensure adherence to DevOps practices including CI/CD, code versioning, and testing.Maintain thorough documentation of data flows, mappings, and architecture.Participate in Agile processes including daily scrums, sprint planning, and issue resolution.Required Skills & Experience:10+ years of professional experience in ETL/data integration and big data environments.Expert-level hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange CDC.Proficiency in Apache Spark, PySpark, and Python.Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., DB2, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).Solid experience in data modeling, ETL design patterns, and performance tuning.Hands-on experience with AWS services related to data processing and storage.Experience with workflow schedulers like Apache Airflow.Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile/POD-based environments.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Informatica certifications are a plus.Experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments is advantageousApply online for immediate consideration, please send your updated resume, and contact info via email mohsin.kazi@prolim.comAbout PROLIM Corporation PROLIM is a leading provider of end-to-end IT, PLM and Engineering Services and Solutions for Global 1000 companies.
