ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Systems Tester to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJThis role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in the enterpriseESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:--- Work collaboratively with a team or as an individual on each assigned project to meet deadlines and deliverables.--- Work well in a dynamic environment where requirements and deadlines evolve during the course of the project.--- Monitor NAS system, software, and FAA procedural requirements when providing STARS deployment support, testing and interface of software and computer system.--- Ascertain STARS/TAMR and Elite system being deployed are supportable, maintainable, and certifiable.--- Respond to field calls and issues, gather facility data, load software, firmware, adaptation and configuration.--- Ascertain user requirements, performs system-wide analysis and functional allocations, exhibits an understanding of the requirements and of the responsive approach to the customer, and satisfies the customer requirementsThis is an outstanding opportunity to grow your skill set in software testingExcellent compensation and benefits including a matching 401k plan with immediate vesting, certification reimbursement and tuition reimbursement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities--- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and seven (7) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field
OR Master's Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty
(30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and five (5) years related work experience in a computer science or math field--- Networking and troubleshooting skills Preferred--- Computer programming language--- Operating Systems Work Environment and Physical Demands--- Located at the FAA William JHughes Technical Center--- Light travel required Security--- US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US--- Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years--- Successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust
