Job Title: BCBA Trainer Location Address: 1981 E Landis Ave, Vineland, New Jersey 08361 Job Description: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates new hire orientation with the director of staff development, and the director of the intensive behavior support program Trains all staff in the Intensive Behavior Support Program in Safety Care including initial certification and recertification Trains all staff in the Intensive Behavior Support Program in a week long training program on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (some days will include supplemental CDS and other mandated trainings) Assists the director of the intensive behavior support program with ongoing development, evaluation and refining of the new hire orientation ABA training Coordinates with the behavior analysts to train staff on behavior support plans, protocols, and data collection during new hire orientation Maintains accurate and updates records of Safety Care Training and ABA training Participates in departmental meetings (providing input, suggestions, resolutions regarding concerns, problems etc ) Supervises registered behavior technicians (RBTs) per the minimum weekly requirement as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Supervisees Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) candidates or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) candidates per the weekly requirements as set forth by the BACB During non-orientation weeks, conducts onsite training within the program to enhance behavior technicians skill sets for both skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs During non-orientation weeks, conducts feedback tools assessing various performance areas with the behavior technicians, lead behavior technicians, and program coordinators Attends bi-weekly clinical review meetings for all clients in the Intensive Behavior Support Program Works with the behavior analyst and director to identify and correct areas of weakness in the behavior technician's skills set Participates in rotational clinical on call responsibilities Completes all other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in ABA Master's degree in a related field (ABA, Special Education, Psychology) Three (3) years' experience training staff in the principles of ABA Ability to teach/communicate effectively the curricula to all staff Must have organization and writing skills to effectively maintain records and documentation Must be flexible with time to facilitate various trainings Elwyn is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
