Respiratory Finance will serve as the primary finance leader and
strategic business partner for the Respiratory therapeutic area.
Collaborating with functional finance business partners, this role
is responsible for financial leadership in support of the global
program teams across commercial, development, tech ops, with a
strong emphasis on value creation, governance, capital efficiency,
and agile decision-making. Operating in a fast-moving,
resource-constrained environment, this leader will combine
strategic insight with hands-on execution, working closely with
program leadership to support growth, ensure global budget
alignment for the programs, optimize investments, and scale the
Respiratory franchise. What You'll Do: In this role, you will act
as a key finance partner to Respiratory Leadership and Global
Program Teams to guide prioritization, investment trade-offs, and
growth initiatives leveraging both internal and external insights.
You’ll also have responsibility for: Finance Leadership for
Respiratory business Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and
long-range planning processes for Respiratory programs.
Collaborating with program management and the program teams, build
and maintain milestone-based financial models to support lifecycle
management, cross-functional launch planning, and indication
expansion. Evaluate R&D investments and external opportunities
(e.g., licensing, partnerships) from a financial perspective
Support program strategy through financial modeling, scenario
analysis, and business case development Performance Reporting
Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management reporting and
variance analysis to Program Teams across global revenues and
cross-functional program expenses Develop and maintain executive
KPIs, dashboards, and financial narratives Contribute to earnings
materials and investor presentations, ensuring consistency between
internal plans and public disclosures. Governance & Financial
Discipline Ensure strong financial controls, compliance, and
transparency while maintaining operational agility. Monitor and
raise risks, identify opportunities, and recommend options /
corrective actions as needed. Support board-level and executive
financial reviews related to the Respiratory franchise. Establish
scalable processes, tools, and reporting as the organization grows,
including use of technology and AI. Think globally and support
regional execution. Who You Are: You have a Bachelor’s and Master’s
degrees in Finance and 15 years of progressive finance experience
in pharma or biotech, including lead support of programs across
their lifecycles and working with regional and cross-functional
teams. . Additionally you have: Demonstrated experience supporting
global commercial products and/or late-stage development assets
Strong FP&A, forecasting, and financial modeling expertise
across commercial, R&D, manufacturing Can think creatively,
manage cross-functional processes and influence business partners
and executives across the organization Executive-level
communication skills and experience developing presentations for
senior leadership Strong interpersonal skills and ability to
interact successfully in a dynamic workplace Proven ability to
translate large amounts of data and information into strategic and
actionable insights, recommendations, and presentations. Highest
standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized. Must
successfully exhibit Insmed’s core corporate competencies and
willingness to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a
hands-on management capacity when needed Travel Requirements This
role will require occasional domestic travel approximately 10 -
