MAJOR FUNCTION:

Responsible for providing benefit programs support network wide, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans (403b), and voluntary benefit programs. Point of contact/liaison with plan vendors and third-party administrators to ensure plans run smoothly. Oversees third party benefits administration system and benefits module in HRIS. Responsible for oversight of benefit programs audits, reconciliations, payments and benefit compliance with various benefit-related regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources.
• Five (5) years previous benefits administration experience required.
• Two (2) years previous experience with oversight of third-party benefits administration platforms highly preferred.
• Experience with Oracle HRIS (especially benefits) preferred.
  Certification/ Licensure:
  
  • Benefits Administration platforms oversight competency preferred.
    Knowledge & Skills:
    
    • Strong computer skills and accurate data entry skills, analytical aptitude.
    • Possess excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to accurately perform in a high volume, variable workload, environment with frequent interruptions, and meet deadlines as outlined.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of software, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel, PowerPoint.
    • Results oriented, works effectively and independently under general guidelines.
