OPERATIONWe have the following job available in the Bakery
Department:JOB TITLE: 3rd Shift Packaging Set-Up # OF OPENINGS: ONE
(1)BASE RATE/HOUR: $30.13HOURS:
Normally start - 11:55 P.M. to 8:00 A.M. or EOP (Hours may vary
with production schedule) JOB DESCRIPTION:Sets up and operates the
packaging machines on BL1.Generally responsible for maintaining two
lines regarding change over's, clearing jams, trouble shooting and
making necessary adjustments. May assume the responsibility for
four lines with the assistance of a backup during absenteeism
(vacations, R/O's, etc).Disposes of edible waste and tends to
general housekeeping of the lines.Will be required to maintain and
repair machines and will be responsible for preventive maintenance
tasks, 5S practices, sanitation duties, rewraps, as well as
coordinating the slicing and wrapping of staged bread/racks on
auxiliary packaging line(s) and removing edible waste.Partner with
Operators to meet daily schedule attainment goals.Actively
participate in and execute Operator Driven Reliability (ODR)
initiatives.Operate a lift truck/powered pallet jack.Must support
all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement
initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to:
serving in the role of 5S Leader, actively participating in all
audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.) and all aspects of
team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude, which are
necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment. The
person in this position must also perform other duties as assigned
by his/her supervisor and/or manager.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:THIS JOB
WILL REQUIRE THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER TO PERFORM OPERATOR ASSET CARE
(OAC) ON EQUIPMENT, AS WELL AS OTHER OPERATOR-DRIVEN RELIABILITY
(ODR) DUTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, CLEANING, INSPECTING,
AND LUBRICATING AS ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR.Candidate selection will
be based on ability to perform the job, which will be determined on
the basis of Work Keys testing scores, personal interview and
physical capacity screening. In addition the job candidate's safety
record, disciplinary record, quality of work, peer relationships,
job performance, previous work history and experience will also be
