The Supply Chain Data Analyst creates programs, methodologies, and
files for analyzing and presenting data while examining data
quality, applications, and functions. The goal of this position is
to continuously improve customer service while simultaneously
reducing inventory through accurate forecasting. Success in this
role is at the intersection of data and communication. The role
will be responsible for proactive collaboration across Customer
Development, Sales, and Supply Chain.
This role is responsible for analyzing production, inventory and
distribution capabilities and using complex data systems to create
and maintain supply and demand forecasts, while generating and
maintaining operating schedules to meet forecasted needs. This role
will drive the demand plan influencing supply chain and financial
planning activities.
The Supply Chain Data Analyst must not only understand the
underlying data but be able to tailor their message to the unique
needs of different stakeholders in the organization. Anticipating
and understanding the needs of different stakeholders across the
company relative to forecasting, turning assumptions into
actionable plans and providing insight into demand drivers to
leadership is critical to success. Agility and strong communication
skills are a must for success in this role.
.Requirements:
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains forecast inputs and backend forecast data in company
applications.
Creates programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and
presenting data. Delivers data products in report/presentation
format, or verbally, to management and/or customer specifications
and timelines.
Develops and sustains database applications and analytical tools to
accurately monitor and report cost changes, growth, new products,
contracts, and performance against the forecast. Adjusts data to
minimize discrepancies and improve data integrity.
Track forecast KPI's including bias, accuracy and forecast value
add. Use the KPI's to drive improvements.
Develops awareness of and familiarity with issues and events
affecting organization, department and/or customer. Points out
system process problems when noticed and engages the team in
problem solving.
Uses and supports complex data systems and programs in support of
ad- hoc and standing management or customer requests. Develops
useful and insightful information from a variety of data sources.
Generates various reports as needed.
Lead monthly S&OP process for assigned brands including
maintaining baseline/statistical forecasts, collecting Sales and
Marketing forecast drivers and highlighting changes and drivers in
the plan to key stakeholders.
Provides accurate and appropriate interpretation of data, applying
knowledge to evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of data.
Maintain schedules to ensure that deliverables are received, and
outputs are communicated as required by the weekly schedule.
Develop, modify, and communicate the short- and long -range demand
plan to Supply Planning. This role functions as the pivotal
communication pint for supply and service constraints.
Coordinate all aspects of Demand Planning related to the delivery
of projects that support growth objectives, innovation, cost
reductions, operational efficiency improvements, and reduce
business waste.
Reprioritization of work to support department initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Bachelor's degree in economics, operations planning, engineering,
economics, or related fields
1-3 years experience in Demand Planning/Supply Planning
Advanced systems skills and working knowledge of MS Office, with
advanced Excel Knowledge APICS a plus.
Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage time while
delivering results in a dynamic business environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and
verbal
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the
ability to formulate and articulate valid conclusions.
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
