Job Description:
MedStar Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Master
of Social Work (MSW) to join our team, serving in a role that

candidate will integrate holistic social work practices across
diverse patient populations, collaborating closely with medical
professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans that address both
medical and social determinants of health. Assess patient social,
emotional, economic, and environmental needs as part of a
collaborative healthcare team. Develop and implement targeted care
plans that address individual patient circumstances, aligning with
both health outcomes and social well-being. Advocate for patient
access to community resources and services, ensuring a smooth
transition from medical care to home-based support. Collaborate
with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans,
incorporating psychosocial support as necessary. Continuously
evaluate the effectiveness of social interventions and adjust plans
as needed for optimal patient outcomes. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to handle complex and sensitive
situations with compassion and professionalism Expertise in crisis
intervention techniques Proven ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team Knowledge of healthcare and social work
ethics and laws Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification required.
