responsible for the following: Collaborate with the Director of
Nursing Education and Professional Development (NEPD), Clinical
Directors, Clinical Educators, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse
Managers and Assistant Nurse Managers to assess, plan, implement
and evaluate orientation, in-service education, continuing
education, and competency programs for predominantly Patient Care
Technicians (PCTs) and occasionally to professional nursing staff.
Serves as a clinical resource to PCTs and professional nursing
staff to integrate and maintain standards of care and collaborate
with nursing leadership to develop unit based clinical
competencies. This position requires providing service to the
following age population(s), young adults to frail elderly,
depending on the assigned specialty, in a manner that demonstrates
an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the
individual served. Qualifications include: Licensed as a Registered
Nurse in Pennsylvania. MSN Required. American Heart Association BLS
required. Specialty Certification preferred. Minimum of three years
of nursing experience in an acute care setting required, care of
the adult patient preferred. Demonstrates competency in
teaching/learning process, organizational skills, and computer
literacy. Demonstrates expert clinical, communication, and teaching
skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to work
independently. Must be able to work rotating shifts. Company
