Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Newark, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $3,722 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse – New Jersey Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: Newark, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week assignment, every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday), various shifts available Highlights: Work in a 19-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with advanced cardiac and critical care capabilities Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2 based on acuity; step-down patients may be 1:3 Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, and interpretation services Opportunity to utilize advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, Medtronic pacemakers, telemetry monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring Float opportunities to Pediatrics and NICU with appropriate assignments based on skill set Collaborative environment with dedicated unit support staff and comprehensive patient care resources Requirements: Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of application Minimum 2 years of PICU critical care experience required; 1 year of cardiac experience strongly preferred (must be documented on skills checklist) Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted BLS and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred Epic charting system experience required Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care required Proficiency with Medtronic pacemakers and telemetry monitoring required Ability to float to other pediatric units based on skill set and hospital needs Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays during assignment Previous charge experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a specialized pediatric critical care environment where you'll care for diverse patient populations ranging from infants to adolescents with complex cardiac and critical care needs.
