Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: New Brunswick, NJ Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,764 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Pediatric ICU / Step Down RN – New Jersey Start Date: March 2, 2026 Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts including every other weekend and holiday; floating required to NICU, pediatrics, adolescents, and PHOC units as needed Highlights: Work with a diverse pediatric patient population including PICU, Pediatric Step Down, and general pediatrics Patient ratios: 1:1-2 for critical care; 1:3 for intermediate care based on acuity and census EPIC charting system with comprehensive 18-hour module training provided First-time travelers welcome; locals accepted at the same rate Extensive skill development including ECMO exposure (preferred), CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced ventilator management Full orientation and competency support with annual recertification Requirements: Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission Minimum 1.5 years of pediatric critical care or step down experience; 2 years preferred Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred Proficiency in advanced pediatric skills: CVP monitoring, CVVH, CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation and management, insulin pumps, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, ventilator and trach management, ICP monitoring, wound care, and trauma care Experience with various IV access types including ports, arterial lines, central lines, and PICCs Ability to float within pediatric specialty units and manage diverse patient populations from infants to adolescents Available to work 2 of 3 major holidays per contract period Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers exceptional clinical growth in a comprehensive pediatric environment where you'll care for critically ill infants, children, and adolescents across multiple specialty areas.
