Job Description:
Join the compassionate team at Tender Touch Rehab Services, a
leader in providing detailed and personalized rehabilitation
therapy services across our partner healthcare facilities. As a
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will support our mission of
delivering tailored physical therapy to meet individual patient
needs, promoting mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall
physical function. Our PTAs work under the supervision of licensed
Physical Therapists, forming a critical part of our patient care
team. Assist Physical Therapists in the implementation of treatment
plans. Document patient responses to treatments and report outcomes
to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and family
members on exercises and therapies designed to improve their
conditions. Ensure that treatment areas and equipment are cleaned,
sanitized, and organized. Assist with the setup of therapy
equipment and preparation of treatment materials. Conduct
therapeutic interventions under the guidance of a Physical
Therapist to help patients achieve their rehab goals. Participate
in team meetings and contribute to the development and adjustment
of treatment plans. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to follow detailed instructions. Capacity to handle
physical demands such as moving equipment and assisting patients.
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and tools for therapy.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Licensed
or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the
practicing state. CPR certification is typically required.
