Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts, every 3rd weekend. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. A commitment to patient and employee safety is paramount in all aspects of care delivery. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission. /n - Identify teaching needs and goals based on the nursing admission assessment. /n - Provide patient information and status for team conferences. /n - Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and provide direct patient care. /n - Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission. /n - Communicate changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care. /n - Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. /n - Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. /n - Assume charge responsibility as requested. /n - Seek professional growth through continuing education and self-study. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification Required prior to first shift. /n - ACLS Required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY). /n - Minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
