Job Description About Us DesireMD is a growing telehealth and
wellness organization focused on post-discharge coordination,
preventive care, and holistic healing. Solace Hospice is dedicated
to providing compassionate, patient-centered end-of-life care that
honors dignity, comfort, and family support. We are seeking an
experienced and visionary Director of Medical Services to oversee
our clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead our
nursing and provider teams with excellence and compassion. Key
Responsibilities ? Provide strategic clinical leadership for
DesireMD and/or Solace Hospice. ? Supervise and guide all medical
and nursing staff to ensure quality and compliance. ? Develop and
implement clinical protocols, policies, and patient care standards.
? Coordinate with hospital discharge planners, providers, and
wellness teams. ? Oversee care planning, utilization review, and
quality improvement initiatives. ? Maintain compliance with all
state and federal healthcare regulations (DOH, CMS, HIPAA). ?
Support staff education, credentialing, and competency programs. ?
Collaborate with administrative leadership to align financial and
clinical goals. ? Represent the organization in community,
partnership, and accreditation settings. Qualifications ? Licensed
Physician (MD/DO) or Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in
Pennsylvania (required). ? 5 years of experience in healthcare
leadership, preferably in hospice, home health, or telehealth. ?
Strong understanding of compliance, patient care standards, and
healthcare operations. ? Exceptional communication, leadership, and
organizational skills. ? Ability to balance clinical oversight with
operational and strategic management.
