Summary We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join
our team at facility in the Progressive Care Unit/Medical Surgical
Telemetry (PCU/MST) department. In this vital role, you will
provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring
intermediate-level monitoring and treatment, focusing on telemetry,
medical-surgical conditions, and progressive care needs. You will
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality
patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key
Responsibilities Assess, monitor, and provide care for patients in
the PCU/MST unit, including those with telemetry monitoring,
medical-surgical conditions, and progressive care requirements.
Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage patient care
plans under the direction of physicians and advanced practice
providers. Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry data, and
respond promptly to changes in patient condition. Collaborate with
healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized
care plans. Educate patients and families on health conditions,
treatments, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation
of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Ensure
compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and
regulatory requirements. Participate in unit-based quality
improvement initiatives and continuing education. Qualifications
and Requirements Current New Jersey (NJ) Registered Nurse (RN)
license required. Minimum of 3 years of recent experience as an RN
in MST/PCU or a similar acute care setting. Certifications: Current
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Current
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke
Scale (NIHSS) required. Strong clinical skills in telemetry
monitoring, patient assessment, and critical thinking. Ability to
work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and
communicate clearly with the healthcare team. Commitment to
patient-centered care, safety, and professional development. Flu
vaccination required (proof must be provided upon hire). Work
Schedule and Additional Details Shift : Nights (specific hours to
be determined based on unit needs). Schedule : 36 hours per week,
