Primary Care Physician Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract) Practice Setting: Outpatient Primary Care / Family Practice Clinic Location: Atlantic City, NJ 08401 (New Jersey healthcare jobs) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Shift Duration: 8-hour days Patient Volume: Average of 20 adult patients per day Start Date: January 1, 2026 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with option to extend EMR: Cerner Travel: Local candidates preferred; mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,050 - $8,350 Qualifications for Primary Care Physician Jobs Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine Active New Jersey Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start) BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of experience in adult outpatient care Proficiency in EKG interpretation Experience performing disability exams (occupational medicine) preferred Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Prior work in a primary care or outpatient clinic setting preferred Primary Care Physician Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive adult outpatient primary care services Interpret EKGs and perform disability exams as needed Document patient encounters using Cerner EMR Provide preventive medicine and chronic disease management Collaborate with clinic staff for seamless patient flow and exceptional service No call, inpatient, or emergency department coverage required Why Choose Atlantic City for Your Next Healthcare Job?
