Location: Cape May Courthouse, NJ Department: ICU (with potential
float to PCU based on census) Shift: Nights, Every Other Week (EOW)
Hours: 36 hours per week Job Summary We are urgently seeking
experienced Registered Nurses to join our ICU team at facility.
This role involves providing high-acuity care in the ICU, with the
possibility of floating to the PCU depending on patient census and
unit needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical
skills, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional
patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in
the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering
medications, and managing complex medical equipment. Assess patient
conditions, develop care plans, and collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes. Provide support
and education to patients and families. Float to PCU as needed to
maintain staffing levels and patient care standards. Maintain
accurate documentation and adhere to all hospital policies and
protocols. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Associate's
or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of recent PCU/ICU RN experience required. Must
have demonstrated proficiency in both ICU and PCU settings.
Licenses and Certifications: Current NJ-RN License (Registered
Nurse). Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) from the
American Heart Association. NIHSS (National Institutes of Health
Stroke Scale) certification. Skills: Strong critical thinking,
communication, and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in electronic
health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift patients, and respond
to emergencies. Additional Information: Schedule Details: 36 hours
of night shifts every other week (EOW). Flexibility to float to PCU
if census changes. Experience Requirement: Must have PCU and ICU
