Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location: Vineland, New Jersey (08360) Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Float Nurse supporting Emergency Department Holds Contract Length: 8 weeks, with likely extension Start Date: January 26, 2026 Shifts per Week: 3 (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,888 - $2,098 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: 1 per contract if needed Requested Time Off: Up to 3 days Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state (New Jersey nursing jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU); Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only) Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting system Ability to complete all required orientation and training Cardiac Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities Float between cardiac stepdown and acute care units to support ED Holds Deliver high-quality patient care to stepdown and acute care patients Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Cerner Participate in orientation and ongoing training, including POCT class Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including timely badge acquisition for clock-ins Experience rewarding healthcare jobs in South Jersey while advancing your nursing career in a supportive, innovative environment.
