Job Description Chief of Gastroenterology – Atlantic City, NJ Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Compensation: $521,850 – $823,584 annually bonuses and benefits Join a leading health system in southern New Jersey as the Chief of Gastroenterology. This is a high-impact leadership role to build and lead a new academic division of gastroenterology in partnership with a new medical school and established academic institutions. Live and work minutes from NYC, Philadelphia, and the Jersey Shore. Position Highlights - Develop and lead a new academic GI division - Recruit and mentor a multidisciplinary team of physicians, fellows, and staff - Drive clinical excellence and research initiatives - Expand advanced GI services including endoscopy - Participate actively in clinical care, inpatient and outpatient - Collaborate with system leadership on strategic growth - Academic partnership with Drexel University Requirements - MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology (REQUIRED) - Active or eligible for New Jersey medical license - Valid BLS, ACLS, DEA, and CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain) - Not open to new graduates, APPs, locums, 1099 contracts, or visa sponsorship - Prior leadership experience or program startup preferred - History of malpractice or licensing issues may be considered Compensation & Benefits - Highly competitive base salary: $521,850 – $823,584 - Annual performance bonus potential - Malpractice insurance with tail coverage - Up to 224 hours PTO 40 hours of NJ sick leave - CME allowance and paid CME days - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - 403b and 457b retirement plans with non-elective contributions - Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) - Paid holidays & tuition reimbursement - Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and system discounts Apply now - jayal.saxena@protouchstaffing.com or 972-505-2125 Do not apply if already applied directly to similar position in this location/Facility
