Job Title: Storage Engineer Location: Barnabas Health Corp Department: IT&S Service Support Req: 0000200489 Status: Full-Time Shift: Day Pay Range: $100,618.95 - $142,124.27 Annual Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Essential Functions: Monitor problem ticket queues and resolve tickets in a timely manner according to the defined SLAs Participate in monthly security patching for computing environment Troubleshoot infrastructure and related technologies by reviewing logs and error messages Troubleshoot with peers and customers on application related issues Functions as an escalation point for application admins and second level support in troubleshooting complex system issues Update code levels of the storage infrastructure to ensure we are compliant and secure Assist Vendors, Customers and Peers with remote access needs Follow and execute defined runbooks and documentation for: o Disaster recovery events o System Decommissions o Infrastructure installs o Infrastructure patching Monitor infrastructure via monitoring toolsets Review Infrastructure and Application Architecture documentation and workflows to gain a broad understanding Follow defined Change Management policies and procedures Attend daily, weekly and monthly team meetings Attend project or troubleshooting calls to address issues or tasks Understanding of Enterprise Networks, Qualifications: Bachelor s degree preferred, Certification or equivalent may be substituted for a BA degree A minimum of 5 years experience in Information Technology and Services in the related area Experience in Healthcare field helpful, but not required, Preferred experience: HPE, Nimble, Pure, Netapp and Brocade technologies Linux/Unix Operating Systems, VMware vSphere, general networking concepts, scripting Scheduling Requirements: Full-time, Day M-F 9a-5p, hybrid 3days in office, either West Orange or Oceanport, NJ facility On-call, 24x7 once every 4 weeks Travel to any infrastructure facilities as needed Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
