Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel NICU RN Travel Contract – Brick Township, NJ Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights) Schedule: 3x12s, Every 2nd or 3rd Weekend, Holidays as Needed Assignment Length: 13 Weeks On-Call: 2 Shifts per Month Specialty: NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Job Summary: We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the NICU team at a reputable facility in Brick Township, NJ . As an NICU RN, you’ll be responsible for evaluating and providing critical care for newborns, working closely with physicians, and coordinating high-quality, family-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans. Implement and document nursing interventions based on patient needs and acuity. Deliver evidence-based care aligned with best practices and organizational standards. Manage and monitor the condition of NICU patients and respond to changes in status. Act as a patient advocate and support families through challenging times. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical protocols. Requirements: Active RN license (NJ) in good standing. Recent NICU experience required (usually 1–2 years minimum). BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications.
