The Judge Group is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Baltimore, Maryland. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline:RN - Start Date:07/21/2025 - Duration:14 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Travel Shift:Nights, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Weekend Requirement:6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks Float:Yes — to Pediatrics, PICU, and Full Term Nursery EMR:Cerner (preferred) COVID-19 Vaccine:Not required Flu Vaccine:Required (medical exemptions allowed) Role SummaryProvide comprehensive care to neonates in a Level III NICU setting, including ELBW babies, surgical cases, and patients with neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) and respiratory conditions. Deliver family-centered care and collaborate across specialties to support critically ill neonates. Clinical Requirements - Minimum 2 years NICU experience - Ratio: Typically 1:2 (acuity-dependent) - Strong neonatal clinical skills including: - Ventilator and respiratory support (CPAP, HFNC, oscillators, nitric oxide) - UAC/UVC management - Neonatal dosage calculations and emergency medication administration - Lumbar puncture assistance - Feeding management (gavage, oral, breast) - Sepsis workups, isolation protocols Certifications - BLS (AHA) - NRP - STABLE (preferred) Preferred Experience - Previous charge RN - Pediatric and PICU experience - Cerner charting proficiency Facility Overview - Daily Census: ~12 - Beds: 21 - Rooms: 20 - Patient Age Group: Neonates - Diagnoses include post-abdominal surgery, hyperbilirubinemia, seizure disorders, and respiratory distress syndrome - Interdisciplinary support includes PT, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social work About The Judge Group Judge Healthcare, a division of The Judge Group, bridges the talent divide for companies and organizations across the healthcare ecosystem, providing resources and specialized roles such as travel nurses, allied health professionals, locum tenens, and more.
