Flemington, NJ 13 Weeks 36 Hours Unit Description: Join our dynamic
32-bed unit specializing in stroke care, observation, and
respiratory support. Our unit is equipped with high-flow oxygen,
BiPAP, and stable ventilators. We prioritize advanced cardiac life
support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
assessments, and telemetry monitoring to provide comprehensive care
to our patients. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and
experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele
RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in telemetry nursing and a passion for providing
high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.
Qualifications: /t - Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a
telemetry or medical-surgical setting. /t - Current Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification. /t - Current Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certification. /t - Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
certification. /t - Completion of 8 stroke Continuing Education
Units (CEUs) is required for RNs working on 5S, with 3 CEUs from
NIHSS included. Additional Requirements: /t - Flu immunization is
mandatory unless a valid medical exemption with supporting
documentation is provided. Key Responsibilities: /t - Provide
high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting. /t -
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding to changes in
patient status. /t - Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed. /t - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
develop and implement patient care plans. /t - Educate patients and
families on health management and stroke prevention. TB_HC Talent
