Job Description:
The Radiology Technologist performs radiographic imaging for
adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, ensuring safety and
hygiene standards.
Prepares exam rooms, tracks patients throughout procedures, and
properly identifies patients using two identifiers and AIDET
communication.
Assists with scheduling, processes and transfers images via PACS,
and verifies image quality and demographic accuracy.
Marks images with lead markers, maintains equipment through QC and
calibrations, and cleans radiographic rooms after use.
Stocks exam rooms, trains staff and students, and practices
radiation safety to minimize exposure.
Qualifications include graduation from an approved Radiography
program, ARRT registration within six months, high school diploma
or GED, and BLS certification.
