Job Description:
Starting Pay Range: $19.00PURPOSE:We are seeking a compassionate
and dedicated Psychiatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join
our outpatient community mental health center. Under the direction
of the Medical Director, the CNA will provide comprehensive care
and support to children and adults receiving outpatient psychiatric
services.FUNCTIONS:Assist in the implementation of care plans for
people with mental health diagnoses.Take vital signs and make note
of any changes.Observe and report any changes in a patient's
condition, such as skin color, mental status, or behavior.Ensure
client areas are clean, organized, and safe.Immediately alert
medical staff if a client appears to be at risk of harming
themselves or others.Provide administrative support to the Medical
Director, ensuring the psychiatry department is fully stocked with
all medical supplies and forms.Helps with the setup and maintenance
of basic equipment.Coordinate neuroimaging and lab requests, which
includes monitoring and recording results in the clients chart, as
well as notifying prescriber.Function as the authorized clozapine
prescriber designee, providing close oversight and monitoring in
compliance with the Clozapine REMS Risk Evaluation and Mitigation
Strategy).Assist medical team with coordinating and completing
pre-authorizations for prescribed medications.Support medical team
with making phone calls to coordinate care. This may include, but
is not limited to pharmacies, primary care physicians, insurance,
etc.Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with
State regulations, Agency policies and procedures and managed
health care requirements.Interacts with clients and other staff in
a positive, constructive and professional manner.Complete all
mandatory training to maintain state, CBH, and NIAC
credentialing.Must function in full compliance with all applicable
policies and procedures, federal state and local laws and Interact
s Code of Conduct.Must participate in Interact s Compliance Program
including reporting suspected violations of the compliance program
or applicable laws or regulations to supervisor/manager/director or
the Compliance Officer.Maintain necessary clearances, continuing
education, licenses, and certifications to practice in the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.Promote a safe work environment that

(DEIA).Other duties as requested by the Medical Director.Adheres to
safe work practices.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or
equivalent.Completion of a state-approved CNA certification
course.Two years experience in psychiatric or mental health setting
preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to
handle stressful situations and maintain composure in
crises.Clearance in accordance with PA Acts 33 & 80.We prohibit
