Clearance: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph . Certifications: If lacking a degree, DAWIA Level II in any focus area. AEITS, Inc. is looking to grow its team! We seek an System Engineer Acquisition Professional Level 4 (AP4) to support our customer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Mission : As a System Acquisition Professional on this government program, you will be supporting important systems to support efforts to keep our country safe. Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Fifteen (15) years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management is required. In lieu of a degree, DAWIA Level II in any focus area and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted. In lieu of certification, an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of twenty-one (21) years may be substituted. Minimum of five (5) years' experience writing pre-solicitation documents in compliance with NSA/CSS Policy 8-2, including annexes, or another DoD Agency's similarly guiding acquisition policy. Experience in DoD source selection desired. Minimum of three (3) years' experience guiding Major System Acquisition programs through the acquisition life cycle including preparation for multiple Milestone Decisions (Milestone Decisions A, B, IOC and/or FOC). Education and Required Qualification Bachelor's degree and 15 years' of demonstrated combined experience in DoD acquisition management, DoD contracting, or DoD contract management is required. In lieu of a degree, DAWIA Level II in any focus area and an additional three (3) years of directly related experience for a total of eighteen (18) years may be substituted. Travel: Less than 10% travel may occur. BENEFITS - Full-time Employees 401K with 15% employer contribution. Fully vested at 1 year anniversary. Five (5) weeks comprehensive annual leave (25 workdays). Additional leave can be earned in lieu of overtime. 11 Paid Federal Government Holidays. Up to $5,000 annually for individually tailored education / training program. All education plans must be pre-approved by Advantage Engineering management.
