Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract
position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
within a school setting in Baltimore, MD. This role offers the
opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the educational
development of students requiring speech and language support.
Responsibilities include: Assessing, diagnosing, and providing
individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language,
voice, and communication disorders. Collaborating with educators,
parents, and other professionals to support student progress and
integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment.
Maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions, progress notes,
and reports compliant with school policies and regulations.
Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development
of individualized education programs (IEPs). Qualifications and
desired experience: Valid state licensure or certification as a
Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working in a school-based
setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
Knowledge of current speech-language pathology practices and
educational frameworks. Ability to work independently and as part
of a multidisciplinary team. Location: Baltimore, MD (onsite in a
