seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Speech-Language
Pathologist to join our new outpatient therapy team providing the
utmost of services to children and adolescents in both an
individual and collaborative approach setting! Work at Matrix
Behavior Solutions for a therapeutic approach to provide speech
language services to children ages 2-18 years old, where we
prioritize mental health and promote a safe, empathic environment!
In this full-time position you will provide evidence-based speech
and language therapy primarily at our Centers. You will also
deliver school-based services should the local School districts,
Charter Schools and Cyber Schools engage Matrix for speech therapy.
Matrix contracts with all major public and private payers, this
position requires you to (a) maintain an active Pennsylvania SLP
license (b) obtain a PA Promise ID linked to Matrix and (c)
complete payer credentialing so you can treat clients as an
in-network provider for Matrix. In addition to direct therapy, you
will play a key role in building our growing speech program. This
includes collaborating on special projects such as parent training
workshops, augmentative-communication initiatives, and
interdisciplinary treatment pathways with our Behavior Health and
OT teams. Your clinical insight will help shape policies, outcome
measures, and marketing efforts that expand speech services in both
center-based and school-based environments *OPPORTUNITIES FOR

Psychology, and Purdue Global. A Speech-Language Pathologist is
responsible for, but not limited to the following: Assessing and
diagnosing language/speech disorders for children, youth, and/or
young adults 2-18 years old Assessments to be completed in a
patient/family centered approach Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans with assuring frequency, duration of
services and format of session (individualized, group) Liaising
with teachers, family members and other community resources
(healthcare providers) as needed to review and discuss client's
current level of function and obtain outside referrals as needed in
areas of concern. Administering therapy that is client centered in
both single and group settings Ensuring patients and family members
are updated and informed of progress, new treatment approaches and
carryover tasks for the home Collaborating with behavioral health
team to ensure all parties are updated and involved with client's
care Complete assessments, progress notes, and daily treatment
notes in a timely manner Participate in conferences, continuing
education opportunities to keep updated on new advancements in
areas of speech and language. Attend monthly speech meetings with
directors to review upcoming events, discuss development, and
maintain collaboration in department responsibilities Willing to
supervise and/or mentor graduate students or Clinical Fellowship
Year students. Qualifications: Individuals who function in this
capacity must possess, at a minimum: Must have a master's degree in
speech language pathology Must have active Certificate of Clinical
Competence (CCC-SLP) from American Speech and Hearing Association
Must have PA State Licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist Minimum
Skills and Abilities: Individuals who function in this capacity, at
a minimum must: Possess the ability to analyze complex issues and
solve them correctly and creatively. Possess strong communication
skills in both a verbal and written format. Possess the ability to
meet established deadlines and schedules. Maintain confidentiality
in all matters relating to the clients and the client's family. Be
organized and efficient in the performance of their job. Ability to
successfully reply to the most complicated questions about clients
and/or families. Ability to work effectively as a part of a
multidisciplinary team Staff must have appropriate background
checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in
direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI
clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare
programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender
Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting
