Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available at a middle school located in Chester, PA. This contract
role spans a full semester, starting as soon as possible and
continuing through June 12, 2026. The position requires 37.5 hours
per week, with onsite responsibilities. Key responsibilities
include: - Demonstrating mastery of special education subject
matter, instructional skills, and resource materials. - Developing
and implementing lesson plans aligned with current state and
district standards. - Utilizing formative assessments and
differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs. -
Maintaining strong classroom and behavioral management skills. -
Collaborating within the urban school setting and adapting to
district and school-specific protocols. - Completing all required
Pennsylvania clearances prior to employment. Qualifications: -
Active Pennsylvania Special Education certification or licensure is
mandatory. - A bachelors degree is required to obtain an emergency
teaching permit if certification is pending. - Prior experience
teaching in a school environment, preferably in an urban setting. -
Proven success managing classroom behavior and fostering a positive
learning environment. - Ability to navigate and comply with
district and school policies. This role offers the opportunity to
