Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Physical Therapist supporting elementary school students in Edison, NJ. The role focuses on providing targeted therapy for 3rd and 4th grade students facing multiple disabilities, emotional regulation challenges, and language and learning impairments. The contract spans the 26-27 school year, with services provided two days per week at a single school site. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized physical therapy interventions tailored to children with diverse disabilities. - Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). - Monitor student progress and adapt therapeutic strategies to optimize outcomes. - Support emotional regulation efforts alongside physical development to enhance overall student well-being. Qualifications and Experience: - Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist. - Experience working with children in school settings, particularly at the elementary level. - Familiarity with multiple disabilities, emotional regulation, and learning challenges. - Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with school staff and families.
