GPAC has partnered with a well-established, family-owned agricultural organization in South Central Pennsylvania to identify an experienced Senior Commodity Trader . This is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing grain origination and trading strategies for corn, wheat, and soybeans , supporting both internal feed milling operations and external marketing initiatives. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in commodity markets, builds strong supplier networks, and is driven to deliver consistent results in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement grain origination and trading strategies Analyze market trends and conditions to guide buying decisions Build and maintain strong supplier and producer relationships Ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely grain procurement Collaborate with internal teams in feed milling, logistics, and marketing Qualifications: 15 years of experience in grain trading and procurement Strong knowledge of production agriculture and regional grain markets Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills Familiarity with how grain commodities are traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and how market activity informs procurement strategy Compensation & Benefits: Base salary range: up to $190,000 Bonus potential: Up to 12% annually Potential for relocation assistance Comprehensive benefits package including medical, retirement, and PTO Supportive team culture with strong long-term growth potential Please submit a resume for consideration.
