plans (Based on position) Salary: At EUSSD, compensation is
determined through a comprehensive approach that considers
candidate qualifications, role responsibilities, market benchmarks,
and organizational needs. Pay for this role ranges from $23.50 -
$26.50/hr, with potential eligibility for bonuses or commission
depending on the role. POSITION SUMMARY: Perform tests and/or
measurement tasks for the ballistics department. Ballistics:
Testing of energetic and inert projectiles, typically bullets,
missiles and bombs. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT
LIMITED TO: Test Setup - Read specifications from technical
documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test
Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment Perform Testing
- Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if
needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data Data
Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all
pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager Lab
Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items.
Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated
instruments current, & organizing supplies Other - Perform other
duties as assigned CORE REQUIREMENTS: Under general supervision;
completes intermediate technical and mechanical procedures,
regularly interacts with clients, troubleshoots and reworks
standard tests. Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test
results Comprehensive knowledge of ballistics & mechanical
principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices Able to use
all standard Ballistics equipment; able to accurately capture
necessary data; able to understand AC/DC circuits Basic MS Office
skills MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: HS Diploma or GED; AA or
AS OR trade school for ballistics testing certificate OR military
ballistics training strongly preferred Minimum 2 Years of
experience WORKING CONDITIONS: Test lab with exposure to sudden,
loud noises PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk;
sit; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or
hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job
include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. EEO
